Hiragana Only...for now

Hi everyone. Is there a way to sentence mine so that the target word is populated to Anki in Hiragana only? I'm using Migaku mostly to consume content and import new words into Anki. I'm new to learning Japanese and just getting started with Kanji basics. Thanks

@Darwin That's not possible and I would strongly advise against that.

Got it. Would you strongly advise against that b/c I'm better off learning the meanings through Kanji?

Yes, you're better off getting started with kanji from the beginning and it will help you with homophones

I'd also give the academy course a look if you're new to Japanese in general. It's a nice introduction and goes straight to kanji (the cards also include info on the kanji used in the target word like meaning and other readings)

Thanks, I'm a week in on Wanikani and I'm really enjoying the learning process with it. I find it annoying that my Kanji is so limited compared to my vocab and grammar. I also started focusing on pitch accent with the Migaku pitch accent course. Thanks, I'm gonna check that out!
