wrong translation
isnt this supposed to be the teachers books were sold?

No, you'd use a different construction for the passive (...本が売られる)
The translation is correct, although the "she" is implied. Usually you'd know from the previous context who was selling the book
It's very common for Japanese to just leave out the subject of the sentence if it is clear from context

No... it's correct translation. It's 売る which is the
base or dictionary form
of the verb.
The passive sentence would be something like this:
先生の本は図書館で売られる。
[As for] The teacher's book, [it] is sold at the library.
or,
図書館で先生の本が売られる。
