Extreme delay when creating new cards using Immerse With Anki extension
When I click create new card, I have to wait more than 1 minute just for it to add. I'm using the alpha version.

I mean usual troubleshooting. Install on a fresh chromium browser so no other extensions can get in the way. Disable any firewall or VPN software, make sure antivirus is getting in the way. Also, post your PC specs.

I tried it on a freshly installed chrome extension. So far same issue. Could it be my anki version?
I updated the migaku anki add on tot he latest version

Perhaps make an appointment with @Lucas (Yoga) so he can look at this problem in more detail. I kinda doubt it's a computer spec issue. With a fresh browser install and running the same ver of Anki that I'm using, I'm not sure what's going on.

It's definitely not a system memory issue like we've seen in other places, looking at your system specs
One thing you could try is upgrading your Anki version
It is possible to install multiple versions of Anki on your computer as well, so you dont need to worry about not being able to "go back" to your current version
If you're still having issues on a fresh install in your browser, it's probably somewhere on the receiving end in Anki
We could test this hypothesis if you try creating some cards for Migaku Memory and compare creation time
Maybe try that so we can compare
Lucas has been really busy lately, so your ping for him above might have slipped through the cracks
If it's on the Anki side maybe we can triage though

Hello, I tried installing the latest version of anki along side the old one. The issue was still the same. I will try the Migaku Memory and let you know after.

It could still be Anki, and you've found some specific issue that still exists in the latest version
I will be interested to see if creating a few cards for MM side-steps the issue
If not, then we can at least rule Anki out! 🙂

I'm having this issue too actually, when making cards through migaku legacy to MM. However I've noticed it only takes longer (up to 1 to 2 minutes for me) when I add media to the card like pictures or audio. If I don't add audio or images, the card gets created with a single click, just like usual. Have u tried without audio/image yet?

I haven't returned home yet from business trip to give it a shot on my home pc. I am sporting a macbook atm and have no idea how to setup anki with migaku on it. Can't wait to get home to finally have this fixed.

It's also not a wifi problem cause everything else works just fine. Really don't know what could be causing it apart from the media files, esp audio is showing problems for me lately, they won't load on my cards when I add them. Images take time but will still load. However, audio cards are just impossible atm for me because of how long it takes just for it to not load on the card.
Does your audio load on the cards that take so long to create?

When I add a card by pressing Q. I have to wait for the playback to finish for migaku to record as usual. My issue happens when I click the create card button and it takes forever. I haven't checked if the audio was succesfully saved.
