Recording automatically goes back 2 slides
Hello, I am trying to use Migaku on Netflix. When I want to mine a sentence, it goes back by one or two sentences and ends up clipping the recording before it even records the wanted sentence. Is there a way to fix this or a way to manually start/stop a recording?

(@shaggy, just to confirm, you are talking about the Legacy extension here right?)
Also, can you share some more details:
- Which browser are you using? Chrome, or something else?
- Which OS are you on? Windows? Mac?
- Does this issue happen every time, or just some of the time?

It is the legacy extension.
I am using brave and I'm on windows 11
It only happens occasionally on Netflix. Reloading the page doesn't help.

This is probably that video busy issue on seeking that's fixed in the new extension
@shaggy could you try and see if you get this issue with the new extension?

Will do
Actually nevermind. It also has a similar problem.
Im testing it with "Alice in Borderland" ep 2.
It goes back a sentence or two before the correct sentence during recording.
I have vid clips for examples but I can't send it here due to discord nitro.

@shaggy#0 you also get this issue using the new extension?

yes

You mentioned you’re using Brave; i wonder if that might be related, we’ve had reports of browser-specific issues with Chromium browsers
If you can replicate the issue on Chrome as well then I will be very interested. Would you mind testing that?

yeah, i could try in a bit
Alright, so after trying it out on google chrome, it seems to work completely fine.

Thank you for confirming
While we can't dedicate any time/attention to other Chromium browsers right now, we would like to do so eventually
Still working through a long list of features and stability patches/fixes that affects Chrome
(I'm a Brave/Edge user as well, FWIW. Just a resourcing capacity kinda thing. Too much to do 🤪)
