Audio Lag After Enabling Recording
Using the Legacy Browser Extension, and this problem emerged after recently upgraded to the latest version of three separate browsers (Chrome, Opera, and Vivaldi).
With the Legacy Browser Extension installed and active, there is no discrepancy between audio and video during normal playback on Netflix.
Once 'Enable Recording' is selected, the audio begins to lag behind the video by less than a second. The onset of the delay is immediate and persists even with manually skipping around the video and creating Anki cards.
All settings are default, and target language is Japanese.

Known issue. For some people, reducing resolution and turning off hardware acceleration helps. For others (like me), we’re left just turning it on and off as needed to record each line.

Are you using Bluetooth headphones? This is the most common cause of audio lag with recording enabled.

Sorry for bringing up an old, known issue. It only started affecting me after updating to the latest versions of the browsers that I use, so I thought that it was perhaps a newer development.
1) I have tried turning off hardware acceleration and decreasing the size of the playback window; both of these have eliminated the delay
2) The lag issue is present with both bluetooth and non-bluetooth audio devices, unless I make the change noted above
Thank you both for your help

I've found that if you used Bluetooth audio anytime during your session, the problem will persist. In the chrome extension settings, try disabling the extension and enabling it before you start a new immersion session. See if that helps, on just normal PC speakers or wired headphones.
