Kanji God cards don't render until scrolling or resizing page [Solution found]
[FOLLOWUP: Issue resolved]
Issue was indeed related to the way Nvidia handles rendering on some non-intensive programs. Post linked at the end solves the problem.
[ update at end of post ]
Is this something that is a known issue? it only seems to happen with kanji god cards. Other cards work perfectly.
I have a very minimal set up with just the migaku add on and kanji god with an Anki release of 23.12.1 (the addon page explicitly says it works in this version)
This bug happens on both sides of the card.
if it happens on the front of a card (after passing or failing), it will show the front of the last card i just graded.
If it happens on the back, sometimes the whole card is completely blank, sometimes it only shows part of the bottom of the card.
each time this happens, if there is overflow i can scroll the page and it will render. or i can resize the window manually. I opt to tap F11 twice to reset the window and it renders properly.
[ I just found this post about anki using the renderer with nvidia cards and it might be related to my issue. I'll update the post after my next review ]

I encountered no such issues with the AMD GPU. However, after the switch to NVIDIA, these...

This issue was completely resolved by the solution in the link.
The problem seems to be connected to the way Nvidia uses resources, and implementing the fix caused my cards to render perfectly each time without changing any settings in anki.
