Changing definition syntax to hover over only?
Hello all.
Just wondering if there’s a way to change the definitions from having auto furigana to only revealing it when hovered over ?
I’d rather not rely on furigana when reading the definitions.
Thanks for any help.

I think the furigana that he's referring to is just part of the definitions themselves, right? @Michaël P (ローマ字 26)

@Cathode Days can you show me a screenshot of what it looks like for you? For me the cards only show furigana on mouse over or tap on mobile

I’m at work now but I can later. I’m not using mobile . It’s just the definitions.

I guess I can manual look up in the definitions and just not add syntax. Just time consuming.

I've got you 😄
you'll need to go to the anki browser

Manage Note Types
then select your note type (Migaku Japanese if you're using stock note type) and press Migaku Options

then for definition furigana, change from Enabled to On Hover
close those windows afterwards
and your cards should behave like you wanted
you may also want to change that for Target Word
