@TimmyTurner in what way was it removed? dictionary auto deconjugates, and I think the pop-up shows the verbatim lookup, followed by deconjugated lookups
Ooops didn't make it clear in the title. When I send to the card creator, it shows me the conjugated form of the word instead of the root @HulK

when you send from a dictionary entry to card creator? Can you give me a precise example? E.g. you send "hablo" to the card creator and it puts the defintion for hablo in the definition field?
One sec let me try and recreate it. I was bulk mining some text I had already read earlier and was having to go in to change it
Does the same for plurals

@TimmyTurner ah portuguese? It probably simply doesn't have the deconjugation detection that is needed. The portuguese parser is being worked on right now!
Ahh ok yeah fair enough. I mined a few more sentences just now and it worked fine for them. Thanks for answering

Ya I think there're just gaps in the dataset

Is that not what this update did? That was my impression. https://discordapp.com/channels/752293144917180496/752717434624147597/1277928607217614859

ah yes sorry
@TimmyTurner dictionary entries are sent to the card creator as is, unconjugated
when creating from the pop-up dict it's different, i think

Will only the uninflected word show up in the dictionary as parsing improves?

sorry there's 2 things here:
1. deconjugation support
2. migaku dictionary quality
Ideally we have better dictionaries that don't have the entries for the inflections of words (which vicon does)
I think the uninflected word will still show up in the dictionary provided there is an entry in one of your dictionaries (which is intended behavior, and ideal because some inflections are separate words too)
sensitive-blue•10mo ago
A few of the dictionary I have installed only say it is a form of a word, which is not particularly useful.
I have seen some words that only show the uninflected word.

Male with the pop up dictionary only comes up with Mal, mal, mal, mall, malen, Malen, while in the window it in the first thing to appear is Male.
