what is that red diamond?

I wasn't able to find the documentation I thought I would ask here, what is that red diamond I see it often in different colors? this is in Anki

Could this just be a diamond character that is wrongfully detected as an unknown word?

It means there are multiple pitch accents for that word. In this case Odaka\ and /Atamadaka, since the diamond is in red.
