Importing Anki Words And Updating Known Words

I installed the legacy Migaku extension and imported my Anki collection into Migaku. I then installed the current version of the Migaku extension and used the newest version to create new vocab cards. I told the new extension to put the cards into Anki rather than Migaku Memory. In order to keep the known words up to date, do I need to import my Anki collection into Migaku regularly via the legacy extension? Or will the Migaku Anki Add On sync that information between Anki and Migaku Extension automatically and keep everything current?

@JimFromChicago | ジム・フロム・シカゴ You either have to do what you're currently doing or import your decks into Migaku Memory with the new extension periodically. Once the new Japanese parser is out, you will only have the latter option since the parsers will differ and mess up word data when going between them. Eventually we hope to improve Anki support as it relates to the new extension.

If I import my Anki decks into MM, will it just take all the vocab and scheduling data with it?

It will know the scheduling data and mark words known based on intervals greater than or equal to 21 days

But it can take over with all my existing data if I ditched anki?

@JimFromChicago | ジム・フロム・シカゴ It looks like that is the intended functionality but it might be bugged right at this moment. We will investigate
