Unable to enable Migaku extension for intranet sites

I want to use the Migaku extension on a site hosted on my local network, but the "enable for this site" toggle is disabled. Is this because it lacks HTTPS? (Running Chrome 131 on Windows 11)

You need to give permission for local files in the extension settings Enable access to file URLs To allow a specific extension to access local files, you can: Go to chrome://extensions in the Chrome search bar Find the extension you want to enable Select Details Toggle Allow access to file URLs on

@Psotle probably the extension just doenst recognise the URL format We are somewhat strict about it So web URLs, and file URLs Direct IP addresses and localhost probably dont work Without revealing anything, could you share the URL structure you're trying to enable the extension on?

That's the source of the issue, I was using a direct hostname with a hosts entry. appending a .local domain and using that, it sprung to life. Thanks saxon.
