How am i supposed to learn the vocab with migaku

I only know about 400 Kanji and i'm using wanikani to learn kanji, but migaku memory usually hides furigana, am i supposed to learn words without furigana? because its super difficult since i don't know about 90% of the kanji I encounter, but once i turn furigana on it becomes super easy

You aren’t supposed to learn words without the furgiana but you are supposed to learn words to a point where you don’t need the furigana to be able to read and understand the word, but can do so by just looking at the kanji. At least i’m pretty sure that’s how stevi said the japanese academy course is modelled. In the academy course the kanji isn’t taught in isolation but in context. I’m not currently learning japanese but i’d assume that ideally you’d want to be able to read and understand kanji without furigana which is what the academy course introduces you to. You can ask @Stevi (JP 38k | KR 31 | ENDE ∞) more about this.

Not sure if you're talking about the academy deck or your own farming, but I agree with the comment above. You're not supposed to know a new word the first time you see the card, you have to look at the back. After that you're supposed to try to learn the kanji along with the reading for that paricular word. So furigana on the front of the card wouldn't make sense for that goal
