New Mined words have a crazy high due placement when I want for them to be due first.

So I have tried replacing my cards so that the new mined cards are put at the front of the deck and show up first, but the mined cards have this crazy high due date as show in the image. Can anyone help me out here?

Are you trying to learn cards in a specific order? Like for immersion order reasons? If that's the reason, this won't help, but you can use Anki Morphs to order cards based on unknown word frequency.

Can also tag your cards and do something like this with Filtered decks.

Oh, that wording makes more sense now. Deck options.

i don’t think you understand what i mean. I have a core deck that I am using, and I want to get into mining cards into that core deck. I want the cards I mine to be due earlier than the rest of the cards in the deck so that i can review cards more relevant to me

Probably sending mined cards to a separate deck would be the easiest. You can nest decks inside of each other.

Hello! You might of already figured it out but incase you haven't, this is how I do it. First you select all the cards in your core deck, then you set it to a starting position like 5000 (it doesn't need to be 5000 specifically but just set it to some high number). Once you done that all your core deck words will be after position 5000. Then you just need to reposition all your mined cards to position 1 and they will be prioritized over your core deck words when Anki is selecting your new words for the day. Hope this helps!

Yeah you would need to reposition after each mining session as from what I know Anki doesn't allow you to change the default position of new cards you add..

I just figured out how to solve the problem. You first go to the settings of your deck, then you find the display order and make the new cards gather order descending position. This should make it so it prioritizes the highest number cards in your deck, and as the new cards you add will be the highest this should work.
