Names in subs

Is there anyway I can work around migaku listing names as words. I don't want it to affect my sentence mining nor comprehension percentages

Also, it counts SOOO may different expressions which really aren't words, such as "waaaaa" or "eeehhhhhh."

You can set the status to „ignored“ for names, in the bottom right where it usually says „unknown“ or „known“

Same for other expressions that you don’t want to count

Unlreated question, but there are words you can hover over, and pull up the dictionary for; Sometimes definitions for multiple words will appear. If I hover over a word like といいます。It will seperate it into という and いう, which aren't the same exact word. So how do say I know one version of the word, and not the other?

I mean, in this case と is just the quotation particle that marks whatever comes before it as the thing that the verb 言う is referring to, so it kind of is the same word in Japanese, even though you would use different expressions in English But usually you have to try to understand from the context which one of the definitions it is. If you can't figure it out, maybe it's not a good sentence to mine and you should just move on :shrugCat: It's not a big deal, you won't understand everything right away

You can also try to breakdown the sentence via the little questionmark icon. Might clear up what you're looking at and if the parser separates the words correctly.
