What level of JLPT will the migaku academy course take me to?

It's a good course that can give a good base? Thanks.

Grammar-wise academy level 1 should cover N5 and N4 with a few things from N3 (most of N3 will be in level 2, though) For vocabulary you would probably need to do a bit of extra study if you wanted to take the N4 exam, though Migaku is more focused on teaching vocabulary that is very common, so you can start immersion with real Japanese media (YouTube, Netflix etc.) The JLPT has some vocab that's not fitting for that goal

Yes, you can make a new deck for your own cards. You can also just watch some beginner videos from their YouTube playlists https://discord.com/channels/752293144917180496/1333915133931687956 (or just the YouTube tab in the mobile app to see them) without making cards. Whichever works best for you It's not that important to make you own cards in the very beginning, because a lot of the words will be in the academy course anyways. But if you prefer learning from your own cards, that's also fine of course

Yes, academy level 2 will cover all of N3 and some N2, and academy level 3 will cover the rest of N2 and all of N1 (Stevi said so himself today haha https://discord.com/channels/752293144917180496/752298375831093309/1366020987769979012 ) and even some slang stuff not in the JLPT But there's currently no ITA on when level 2 & 3 will be published. Maybe level 2 will be out by the time you finish level 1 :shrugCat:
