How I focus words like 切る that have 26 dictionary entries?

I don't how to learn this type of words. I need to learn all the meanings? Get the main meaning? It's very overwhelming.

Just use the meaning that makes sense in the context you learned it. If it has another meaning you run into you can always make a new card for the different meaning. There are a handful of words like that in every language

So I make sentences flashcards only with the meaning that appears in the context?

In general often there isn't a "main meaning". Other languages have other words with their own meaning and no comparable word exists in your own language. To learn it, you need to get the general idea of what the word means. Which is why immersion is so important.
