These words are exactly the same but migaku list them as separate words.
What is going on here as you can tell the format if the word is also the same.
Is this the subtitles or is this migaku?

Do you know if that always happens when the words are the same in one sentence? Could be a bug @HulK

I think only the first one gets the correct marking. Should only be a display issue, I‘ve seen it a lot too

I just tested for myself in the clipboard, and both get tracking. It is RS where only the first one is marked.

bug pretty sure
Do you get this in the clipboard too? can you test it?

I notice this before and when testing here it counts the word as different so it does change the amount of known vocabulary.
For me both were make different, but it could be the video maybe same kanji but different readings.
Haven't done the clipboard not sure how to do that with the subtitles.
But my vocabulary being at 4300 I honestly feel now that my true vocabulary is more like 4000 or even 3900 on Migaku.

as in type the same sentence into the clipboard and see if you have different parsing for 溶け
wise-whiteOP•2mo ago
By typing will not work, as typing is you own input.
What might need to be done is to copy the entire transcription of the video.
As that will use the video's input.

huh
Can you type the sentence and see if 溶け is tracked and then shown as unknown?
dont need the whole transcript

I typed it into the clipboard from the screenshot and I get it marked differently as well, but when I tab it it looks like the same dictionary entry :thinkie:

flat-fuchsia•2mo ago
All the entries are the same for both, not just the first
なんか溶け込める、街の雰囲気溶け込める感じがする。
Is what I typed
And in my case the second one is correct, I do have a card for 溶ける

idk enough about how the jpn parser works
I'll log it

I‘ve definitely seen this behavior before. I assumed it was just some kind of display bug, though, and never really paid it any mind

It often happens with words I already know too.
Did you do copy and paste?
flat-fuchsia•2mo ago
I didn't have anything to copy & paste from. I just typed that into the clipboard

If you hold the subtitles long enough in the migaku app you should be able to copy them

Did you link the video? Anyway, the problem seems to be the same no matter where the text comes from
