Disabling audio focus on mobile app disables mobile video player
OS: Android 15
Phone: Pixel 6a
Very small, but repeatable issue:
1. Use AppOps or ADB to disable migakus' audio focus permissions.
2. Play a video with the mobile player.
3. Even with nothing else playing, the video will immediately pause after playing one frame. The video content, audio, and subtitles all load but upon pressing the play button it will immediately pause again.
When you give migaku back it's audio focus permissions the mobile player works as normal.
Why the hell am I disabling audio focus?:
Disabling audio focus via a third party app like AppOps is a massive quality of life improvement for people using the migaku SRS with Bluetooth audio output devices. This is because most Bluetooth headphones, which you are required to use on new phones have latency issues, so when you flip over a card to see the answer and the audio starts playing the first ~0.5 seconds gets cut off.
By disabling audio focus, you can play ambient noise in the background from Spotify or another audio playback app and the card audio will not get cut off anymore.
Very few people use this trick though, so this probably isn't a super high priority issue. But the issue is easily repeatable so I thought I might as well post about it anyway.
