Bulk Add Terms?
If I have a list of words, can I bulk add the cards to a deck and then review them to edit as needed one by one? I have a set of flashcards I'd like to move to the application, but they aren't Anki cards so I can't just import the set.
Because of the way the webpage is set up, I can't copy all of the words at once either

This set has 87 terms so I'd prefer to not have to click on them one by one. However if that is all I can do at the moment then I'll just slowly migrate all of the terms over in the next few days
Having the ability to import a CSV file would be very nice (which I assume you can do here) and will make transitioning easier for users from apps like quizlet or deck academy or memrise etc @HulK

one workaround is asking chatgpt to create a smalls cript to export all of that to an anki deck, then you can import them to migaku.
this is if they dont offer an export function.

Yeah its kind of tricky because the table doesn't take up the whole page since it has it's one scroll. Its as if this site wanted to make it as hard as possible to export it's cards 😭
Yeah I can't copy and paste within the table too. Looks like I'll just have to break this up. I don't really need those specific example sentences.
I'd be fine with just bulk importing the words themselves if that is an option?
I like the sentences Migaku generates more than this page, so I don't feel like i"m issing out if its like this

ya it's true
i'll log it
Unless it can export to Anki there is no bulk option

I have a comma separated list of words, should I just paste them in the clipboard and make them one by one this way instead?
Hmm some of these are wrong anyways. Idk why I had extra added to my list
That’d be the best option

Thanks!
Using clipboard is nice! Some of the words were already in my frequency deck I've uploaded, so Mugaku is telling me whch words I can safely skip!

How I do this when i have a bunch is get an LLM to write an example sentence with the keyword bolded, then I pasted into migaku's clipboard and create the cards from that. It is a decent work around

I think I'll do that next time
It was not too bad adding a comma separated list, but the app kept trying to use the entire list of words as the example sentence so I had to remove it, generate a new sentence and then discard the original sentence audio to have a new one generated as well
I really like the example sentences Migaku comes up with, so it wasn't that bad.

You don't need to mark them one by one. You can paste theme in here

Or you can select all of them in the clipboard and then press
k
or 3
and it will change all of them to known. You can use that with other statuses toosecure-lavenderOP•2mo ago
I'm confused. Is this just to tell the app what I do know?
Because I was asking for a way to bulk create flashcards with text only
Err the list of terms only

Okay, I learned if I have the words separated like this then the extension can tell I want the words individually. I just need to figure out how to bulk add them

sorry, i was just skimming
yes, to create the cards you'd have to manually do it for text cards
The only way to do this would be quite pain and it would be through video.
Essentially you'd have to:
1. create a subtitle where each word is its own line.
2. Disable taking audio and image from the video in the Card Creator settings
3. Setup bootleg migaku player.
4. Add a video, add the subtitles.
5. bulk create for each line

Yeah that sounds tedious enough that I probably would have been better off just doing what I did manually earlier
Thank you for the work around though!
