Importing anki learning status
Hi, I'm currently trying Migaku(monthly fee) for now, I'm really enjoying the tool but there is one thing I can't resolve, I have an big anki deck and I want when using Migaku, to import my anki progress for words I already know.
The learning status seems neat and I don't if there is any solution .. it seems that there is an "import" vocabulary in option but it's a text input, it's not connected to Anki

I have noticed that with my Anki cards I imported yesterday, the deck picked up where I was last and it had showed me new words!
So I think it's not clear from the interface, but you will be able to continue from where you left off!

@Conrad You can import your anki decks (though it will have to be converted to a Migaku format) and it will take your word knowledge from the decks. I don't think it will import the intervals of all the cards.
@es021 does Anki import take the intervals as well and review timings?

Yes it will import all the learning schedule data from anki

Hi, first of thank you for your response, I tried to import, everyword that i know are displayed in subtitles but they are in "not known" state but they are recognized as "in the deck"

You created new cards from subtitles? That sounds expected. When you review them they become "learning" and once their interval reaches 20 days, they become known.

oh so if my anki card did not have a 21 days interval it would not count them in "known" count in migaku import ?

@HulK sorry for bothering you but this is a follow up question. when i reach the 20 day "known" interval, does it get removed from the card deck? like will it ever come back for me to review? and also when does a card FULLY become known? or does that ever happen?

The only thing that can ever happen is that a card is granted learning status (happens after studying it once) and becomes known (happens after 20 day interval). Otherwise, cards will continue to be reviewable indefinitely and they will never be deleted automatically.
We do have plans to implement retirement where you can customize what happens to cards with a certain interval, though
