Database upgrade stuck on my very first day :(
I subscribed today to Migaku, and now my browser is stuck on "Upgrading database" at 6% when accessing study.migaku.com since 20 minutes.
I'm not sure this is normal as I subscribed and start using it only today. Here is what I did in order just in case it's useful:
- I installed the chrome extension
- I downloaded the Android EA app
- I signed in to the chrome extension
- I added some dictionaries for Japanese from the library (not from a file)
- I started trying things with Youtube / Netflix / etc (just changed a few words to "known", I didn't create new cards)
- I put my computer to sleep
- I signed in on the Android app
- I installed the same dictionnaries as in the web browser extension
- I started Japanese academy and did 10 new cards
- I started Kanji academy and did 10 new cards
- After a movie, a meal, etc (so a few hours later) (not related to Migaku)
- I woke up my PC and suddenly my browser is asking me to do a database upgrade, thinking it's normal, I accept
- Now it's stuck at 6% and still doing a HTTP query every minute (I can see them in the developper tool)
The queries currently running:
- Every minute to firestore.googleapis.com/..../channel?....
- 2 requests every 5 minutes to srs-sync-server-testing-..../sync...
My Chrome extension version is 1.25.0-earlyaccess.3, my Android app version is 1.54.15.alpha.
Not really a good start I would say, I hope it will be fixed soon 😦

Now my android app is stuck too, I probably shouldn't have opened it...

Not sure what happened, I reset my local data on both devices stuck and my browser extension asked me to do the database upgrade too. This time it did it in a few seconds and now all my devices are working. (I just had to re-login, re-do the settings and voila). I hope it won't be the same next time I will wake up my computer ^^
