Should I learn Chinese (Mandarin) and Japanese at the same time

I'm wondering if I should learn Japanese and Chinese simultaneously since I enjoy both languages deeply. I couldn't really decide between which one, though I'm leanily a little bit more towards Japanese, but still love chinese. So should I learn Japanese first and see where it goes, or I can learn both simulatenously, even if it's very difficult?

It's is highly recommended to only focus on one until you are at least intermediate level, before jumping to the other.

so if I get to like intermediate Japanese, it's okay to learn chinese at the same time, or you shouldn't do that at all

You can do whichever you want. At the end these are recommendations

That would be the absolute earliest that you should even consider doubling up
