"The available Cantonese subtitles don't match the audio" on YouTube

When opening any video with Cantonese subtitles, I am sometimes getting the message "The available Cantonese subtitles don't match the audio", even though the subtitles are all in Cantonese. Sample video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQwlLrkt6j8 Whether I get this message or not is dependent on which Chrome profile I open the video with. In my base profile, the subtitles show correctly. However, I have a separate, Chrome debugging profile that I use for making flashcards, and this profile inconveniently doesn't allow these subtitles to display (see image with normal profile on the left and debugging profile on the right). The main difference with the debugging profille is that 1) is has the option --remote-debugging-port=9222 enabled and 2) It is not signed in to a Chrome account for syncing
