Can I get N5 just by finishing the academy course from Migaku ?
Like the title says I'm trying to obtain the level N5 of the JLPT and would like to know if it's doable with just Migaku's course

Well they say it gets you to around N4 maybe early N3 levels. But if you plan on taking the test make sure to do some practice tests and learn the question types and patterns

Is there a good website to do some N5 practice tests ? With random questions so I can keep doing them

Just search "JLPT mock test" a lot of results appear. You can then select from there which website you prefer.

Oh okay didn't know it was that simple lmao
Thank you!

The official website is also providing samples of questions you can do online quickly to check your level: https://www.jlpt.jp/e/samples/forlearners.html

yeah I did that one! the issue is I don't think they have multiple different questions so after doing them once you can't really keep using it ):
(apparently they have PDF's with questions in their website, just found out about it)
Bunpro is a resource where you can access all the grammar and vocab notes for free, it’s actually outlined via the JLPT so you can also use that as a check and learning tool. But yeah practice JLPT tests and apps are easy to find

I‘ve recently gone through all of Bunpro N5 & N4 (currently going through N3) and can confirm that Migaku Academy definitely had you covered for N5 *and N4 grammar
It’s still a nice resource if you want to double check something, their grammar explanations are all free

So finishing all of Migaku Academy should help me get through the N5 JLPT test at least?
Is there another tool that I could use that's free to use alongside Migaku ? Something that's more towards exercises to use the knowledge I got from Migaku
I checked Bunpro but it's a paid tool and idk if I can afford another sub right now ): otherwise it seems like a really useful tool

Only the SRS is paid. You can look at everything for free
But yes, the exercise part of Bunpro is paid
sensitive-blueOP•3d ago
Oh okay, that's actually quite useful then
Yeah I really wanted something that was more of an put into practice exercise to use at the same time as Migaku memory

Immersion is practice, personally I would recommend you to just immerse instead of doing exercises.

Oh really?

Reading and listening to Japanese is the exercise you are looking for.
The thing here is that what a lot of apps sell you as exercise isn't real exercise as these types of questions were never designed to improve language skill, just to test it. And as it stands they aren't very good at that.

The only app I can really reccomend that might be somewhat helpful for you is "Clozemaster"

Honestly I tried bunpro and it's pretty cool to use it alongside migaku ngl
And it's actually really cheap for the sub! So thank you so much for that recommendation
