High memory usage on YouTube
After watching a YouTube video for a few minutes with the subtitle browser on, doing a lot of lookups, manual pausing and creating flashcards, the memory consumption gets very high and the extension becomes unusable. I'm using Brave browser if that has anything to do with it.

It's a bit tricky but we hope to resolve it soon, among the many other priorities in the mix 🙇♂️

Hey Saxon, any updates on this? Because it affects both YouTube and Clipboard, it can get quite annoying to have to constantly restart the addon

We've been heads-down on the EA migration work which is currently being rolled out and debugged
The performance issue (memory leak) is actively being work on at the moment
It'll land in EA first to confirm it works, then it will make its way to all Standard users, and you should see less memory accumulation and crashes thereafter...!
