Air + Road

  1. Fly to São Luís (SLZ) – multiple daily connections from São Paulo, Rio, Brasília.
  2. Airport shuttle to Barreirinhas: Guanabara runs 4 departures daily, 3 h 45 min, R$ 85.00.
  3. From Barreirinhas to park gate: pre-book 4×4 transfer (R$ 35–50 pp each way).

Overland from Fortaleza or Teresina

  • Fortaleza–Barreirinhas: 8 h private transfer (R$ 350–450 per car).
  • Teresina–Barreirinhas: 5 h via BR-402 (shared van R$ 120 pp).

Delta Route via Parnaíba

  • Speedboat across Parnaíba Delta to Atins (R$ 85.00 pp) then 4×4 to Barreirinhas in 1 h.

  1. 90 days ahead – buy park e-ticket online; choose morning or afternoon slot.
  2. Same session – add ranger-guided trek if desired (cannot be added later).
  3. 30 days ahead – reserve accommodation in Barreirinhas, Atins, or Santo Amaro.
