Getting an Error trying to Reset Database with Migaku Kanji God Add-on

Missing Toolbar

Yesterday my Migaku toolbar stopped appearing in Chrome. I've turned the extension on an off and on again, closed and opened Chrome, restarted my computer, and nothing works. I use beta community version Version 0.9.35.2. Anything else I can do?

Kanji God Addon

Hi, I had to reinstall the Kanji god addon to my laptop because of an issue with my PC and the new browser extension. Now however, it is not showing me any new cards when I go to study. Even though I actually have new cards ready to study it is not showing me any of them and says I have zero new cards, but there are new cards under the stat window. Should I reinstall it again? I've had problems with kanji god since I started using the new browser addon.

Cannot get regex to work in Anki addon

First obvious question: Is the field name the field passsed by the Migaku browser extension, or the field that that field is mapped to in Anki? Ie. should I call it eg. Sentence (from Migaku) or 'MyFieldName'? I am trying to modify the stuff internal to curly braces. For now, testing with just deleting them, I have no luck. Regex is \{[^\}]+\}, which should work, as far as I can tell. Maybe something to do with the escaping slashes and how the addon is interpreting them?...

Custom Pitch Color Reverting (New Issue)

@Migaku Anki Add-On Support I have used a custom pitch color on my cards for heiban words for a year or so due to the dark blue being extremely difficult to read on the dark gray background of the card. In the past I have achieved this by changing the style css in the card format for my custom migaku note types. Within the past week or so I have started having an issue where it seems like every time I sync with Ankiweb - I think just from my PC - or maybe when I reboot my PC and relaunch Anki, I'm not exactly sure of the cause but it seems either tied to reboot or the sync to Ankiweb - that the pitch coloring is reverting to the original hex code. This has led to me having to go and manually replace the hex code in my custom migaku note type CSS every day. I also tried editing in the addons folder the languages\ja\support.css file to change the color code therein to be the turquoise color I used. Today when I rebooted my PC and synced to Ankiweb it again reverted in both the card css and in the support.css file to the original color code on all devices. Any idea on why this might be happening, or what I can do to fix it until an option to change syntax color is hopefully eventually added into the Anki menus? It's really hard on my eyesight to use the dark blue color but it's a pain to have to edit the CSS, sometimes multiple times a day. I figure this must be tied to some kind of change in the addon's code as I haven't had this problem before the last couple weeks, although I may be experiencing it more frequently if it is tied to my PC specifically and not mobile as I have been doing a lot of editing of note types to figure out mining from my Kobo leading to more syncs from my PC. Anki-addon not working on Anki 23.12.1 [Linux]

Target/native language disabled for Youtube

On youtube, I am unable to select a language for the captions. All other extensions are off. No issue with netflix though. Any help is appreciated

My Youtube constantly reloading when im trying to watch anything

I got migaku and was setting it up with a tutorial, i got it all set up and now after my youtube fully loads, (around 2-3 seconds) it just reloads the whole page. Over and over.

Can't Parse

I recently started using Migaku with Netflix and on the Migaku toolbar I have the target set on "Japanese [cc]" and Native on english, It says on the right side of that, that there is no parsing options and that it isn't available for "Japanese [cc]" not sure what i'm supposed to do and all the tutorial videos online are the outdated version of Migaku 😦

Migaku options for the Migaku note type keep resetting.

Every time I open and close Anki all the Migaku options I have chosen for the Migaku note type keep resetting to the default. So, I have selected to have pitch colours and furigana enabled on the sentence on the front of the card for instance. But every time I restart Anki I find these turned off again. This has been occurring ever since the last update. Other note types I use that have Migaku options have also be displaying incorrectly no matter what I select....

No screencaps from Netflix

Unable to change deck after updating Anki add-on

Hello, I recently updated the Anki add-on on Anki 2.1.49 and since then I have been unable to change the deck I add cards to in the 'Add' window. It defaults to my Kanji deck and when I try to change decks I get the following error: ```Error An error occurred. Please start Anki while holding down the shift key, which will temporarily disable the add-ons you have installed. If the issue only occurs when add-ons are enabled, please use the Tools > Add-ons menu item to disable some add-ons and restart Anki, repeating until you discover the add-on that is causing the problem....

Migaku Anki Add On doesn't seem to work with version 23.10.1

Generate Definitions in Anki is more compacted than making a card normally

So after moving from the legacy extension thankfully a lot of Yomichan dictionaries I had that did not work with the legacy edition ended up working, including a nice monolingual thesaurus. (I know this isn't about legacy but it is about Anki (version 2.1.61) However I noticed that after generating a few definitions with it in Anki, they were coming out more squished together than what they appeared like in the popup dictionary. So I thought it had to do with Anki, but then I made a card normally with that one dictionary, and it came out how it appeared in the popup. In the picture the top few paragraphs is the entry how I see it in the popup (how it should be) made by manually making the card, and the second was the same entry generated in Anki, which is much more squished up. There is no modification of syntax on either entry. This occured both with appending and overwriting. ...

Migaku Anki Addon update seems to have broken syntax

After updating the migaku anki addon, syntax on migaku japanese note types is no longer working--syntax colors aren't being applied and syntax in brackets is just appearing on the card as normal text, rather than being embedded/hidden. Has anyone had this experinece before? I have the Browser Extension "Migaku - Legacy 0.9.38.2" enabled in chrome. Thanks! Edit: This is on mac, but it seems that after syncing, syntax has also been broken on anki mobile now. I'm also noticing that all of the card types are listed as "Standard". I don't remember if this is correct; the note types all still look right (Migaku Japanese Sentence)....

problem after trial expired

I recently hit the end of my trial for migaku legacy, so I paid for the yearly subscription but it is still telling me my trial has expired and I can't do anything else (only option is renew subscription or logout). Is there something I need to do to activate my subscription? I have been charged for it. Any help would be appreciated 👍

Unable to Select Target Language when using Migaku Player

Hey I recently ran into a bug where the migaku toolbar was not showing up, so I decided to uninstall and reinstall migaku. After the fresh installation it did fix the toolbar issue, but now I have a problem where I can not select my target language when using the Migaku Video Player. When I use any other website such as Youtube, the toolbar works as intended. Does anyone know a fix for this. FYI, yes I am using .SRT subtitle files when watching anime....
