Migaku won't capture audio and video when mining content with ASB Player?

So yeah when creating a card migaku will not record + make a screenshot + get audio like it usually does for say Netflix. Anyone know a fix for this?

Solution:

Migaku doesn’t work with asb player. For Netflix do you have harder acceleration turned off? Also are you on chrome? It’s the only official browser supported...

Is there an api for creating/editing your own cards?

Trying to add support for migaku in my application https://github.com/bpwhelan/GameSentenceMiner, but I cant find anything short of digging through the anki addon, and trying to hack my way through.

How to download course audio

Is there a way to download the Migaku Mandarin Level 1 course's audio for words and sentences so I can make Anki cards with them?

What does the colour highlight mean?

I'm just wondering what this blue highlight means around certain words in the extension?

Solution:

It means it’s a perfect sentence to mine from since it’s only one unknown word, iirc I think the color changes based on the word frequency level 🤔

More context from YouTube subtitles

How can I make longer audio clips than what is displayed? I usually hover over the word I want to learn, then I click "Send to Card Creator". But sometimes the audio is too short, in my screenshot for example, I'd like to record the full sentence containing "aussitôt".

Replacement for Old Workflow

Dear all. I just subscribed to Migaku. Before, I was using an ancient anki version with the Migaku legacy extensions, without even knowing there was a new version of Migaku. To my question: I still want to use Anki as my main flashcard program and for that I always used the "Generate Readings/Pitch Accents" on multiple cards at a time with the old Anki Migaku extension. Is there any equivalent way in the new Migaku Anki Addon? I like the way of creating own SRS cards when watching anime, however I would still like the feature when importing pre-made decks to anki and with one click just generate the readings (furigana), pitch accents etc. on multiple cards.. Thanks to you all and especially the dev team for creating such a great tool!...

Any way to edit furigana?

The sentence and the audio clearly say もぐる, but here's ぐぐる。I would like to resolve this descrepancy.

Parsing books in TTSU is very slow/laggy - any solutions or alternatives?

I'm struggling with parsing novels in TTSU. Sometimes, it's so slow it's unusable when moving to the next page or becomes unresponsive. I thought it might have been my old computer. However, even on my brand mid-level laptop, it's still happening albeit to a lesser degree. Does anybody have any solutions they can recommend? Or alternatives to TTSU that would work better with Migaku?...

You could try neat reader, the reader in Migaku legacy through brave or copy and paste sections into the clipboard as you read

Mandarin parsing issues

I noticed that subtitle parsing and subsequent word segmentation is far from perfect in Mandarin. Is this something that is actively worked on? Would it be helpful to report example issues? If so, what is the preferred way of doing this? Thanks!...

How many times is a card reviewed until it is considered known?

I decided to start Japanese again from scratch, as my katakana is a bit rusty. Turns out my Hiragana though it pretty much there. Just wondering how many times I'll have to review the hiragana cards before the app considers them known....

Anki intervals

It’s been ages since I’ve used Anki and I’ve recently started again after noticing my Migaku Memory pass rates were very low. I’ve noticed tho that after learning a card for the first time (and going the subsequent reviews) I’m getting intervals of 4-8 days right off the bat and I don’t remember Anki doing this before. Is this normal? Maybe it’s due to the FSRS which I had never used but I just wanted some input from someone else using Anki to make sure it’s not some weird settings I have on or something 😭...

How to Make Anki words into 'known' words

Sorry if this is a confusing way to word it but basically i know 1k+ words from studying on anki with a premade deck. is there a way to have migaku see these studied cards as known words? Because i purchased migaku recently it basically says ik 0% of every video i watch...
