Word explanations not showing (Korean IOS, normal app)
As the title mentions, clicking on words no explanation comes up..
This has been an issue before as well and after i raised it it fixed for a few days but it always goes back to this.....
Migaku doesnt show subtitles anymore
I've run into this bug several times now—Migaku fails to detect subtitles in videos, even when they're clearly there, and sometimes even when they're official, not auto-generated. Why doesn't the program detect the subtitles and how can I fix it? (c.f. attached file)
Clipboard sentences don't split correctly when there's no space after a period
When you copy in sentences with no spaces after periods, the sentences aren't correctly split. My fix was to add spaces manually in google docs, but it'd be nice if they were detected automatically.
Words in Clipboard going back to 'Known' status after you've marked them as 'Ignored'
I've been using the clipboard to try and mark names of people as
ignored. However, if I close out of the Migaku app window and the clipboard, and then reopen them, the word status is right back to known for some reason. I also notice that when I mark the word as ignored, the word count doesn't change. This doesn't seem to happen for all words, but it has happened for quite a few non-TL words / names that I've without a doubt marked as ignored. I'm not sure if this is a Clipboard issue or...
Furigana splitted and not the same as in the dictionnary
I'm using the last release of the early access web extension and for a reason I can't comprehend, when displaying all the furigana it is listing this reading that doesn't exist. I'm just using the default JMDict English dictionnary provided by Migaku.
Dictionary and popup dictionary not working correctly
The in-app search dictionary function does not respond at all and when hovering over japanese text/subtitles there is no dictionary info given but the rest of the tabs work fine and it defaults to AI explanation of the word. Im on chrome/ windows. This issue seems to appear on all sites. I downloaded the extension today and it has worked this way from the start.
"The available Cantonese subtitles don't match the audio" on YouTube
When opening any video with Cantonese subtitles, I am sometimes getting the message "The available Cantonese subtitles don't match the audio", even though the subtitles are all in Cantonese.

Whether I get this message or not is dependent on which Chrome profile I open the video with. In my base profile, the subtitles show correctly. However, I have a separate, Chrome debugging profile that I use for making flashcards, and this profile inconveniently doesn't allow these subtitles to display (see image with normal profile on the left and debugging profile on the right)....
weird new card order
when i chose to have 50 new cards per day from the settings(1st img), i get random words but if i set the daily cards to just 5 complete those and adjust the cards per day (2nd img) to 50 i get the oldest cards first
Subgen not working on long videos.
Subgen is only working for me on shorter videos. All of the ones where it has worked are under 10 minutes. This is what the console says.
Typo occurring
I pasted a sentence into the card creator only to find that it doesn’t match up with the top part. Thank goodness I can fix it with the ‘Modify syntax’. But just wanted to bring it to the teams awareness. 🫡
Importing dictionary does't work, browser extension crashes
Whenever I try to import my monolingual dictionary (install from file), it loads and loads and eventually it gives me this error (photo). After that the app crashes and I have to reload it

Your settings have hidden subtitles
I am facing a problem that I cant see the subtitles anymore. Testes with german and english. I get in the subtitles zone only the message „Your settings have hidden subtitles“. I checked the settings and everything seems to be correct. The subtitles are not hidden and I set a target language.
Any help? Thank you 🙂...
Recording failed
I'm getting a"recording failed" message all the time on mobile, standard and ea.
Can I do something on my own to fix that?...
