no subtitle on youtube

Today trying to use migaku on youtube I noticed that when I try to select subtitles in the target or main language nothing happens, nothing comes up, as if no subtitles are available (in the original video of course there are subtitles) this happens to me only on youtube, both with legacy and new extension, i didn't do anything special to break the extension this way =I i tried reinstalling the extension but nothing i also disabled all the plugins in the browser and vpn from my pc or other useless programs but nothing to do...

Variants as 常用漢字

Hello everyone, I'm sorry if this has been discussed somewhere before, and in general it is probably a quite nerdy or trivial complaint to have anyway. This is an issue concerning the variant Kanjis like 叱 and 𠮟. Because they are somewhat hard to differentiate here i will put 𠮟 into italic. The official 常用 list clearly includes 𠮟 as a 常用漢字, and most other sources also follow this (Wikipedia, some other addons i have seen, ...) Now interestingly, both Heisig's RTK and KKLC use 叱, not 𠮟, even though they somewhat claim to teach you the 常用漢字....

Youtube cant use full screen

Disney+ still not working

I saw the post about the Disney+ fix but when I go to Disney plus to watch anything with Japanese audio and subs it still doesn't work. I tried watching Hercules, switched to 日本語 and turned on japanese subs but nothing from Migaku pops out, just Disney+ subs. I use Chrome and yes, the extension is turned on for Disney+. Please help. Thank you!

The hotkeys are not working

In my case, pressing 'q' is not working - the card is not being created, as well as 1,2,3 buttons. It succeeded very occasionally after pressing it hundreds of times. What I mean is, it can work e.g. 20th time and 35th time but not in between. I'm using Chrome, Windows 11. My Legacy Extension version is 0.9.38.2. Refreshing the page doesn't change anything, as well as turning off every other extensions. Do you happen to know what can be the possible cause of that problem? I would be grateful for help....

Audio Lag After Enabling Recording

Using the Legacy Browser Extension, and this problem emerged after recently upgraded to the latest version of three separate browsers (Chrome, Opera, and Vivaldi). With the Legacy Browser Extension installed and active, there is no discrepancy between audio and video during normal playback on Netflix. Once 'Enable Recording' is selected, the audio begins to lag behind the video by less than a second. The onset of the delay is immediate and persists even with manually skipping around the video and creating Anki cards....

Subtitles Breaking Extension

In the legacy extension whenever I try to increase the border width of the subtitles it crashes the extension and I need to "reload" it and when I do it refuses to work and then i have to reinstall and try again, with all my last settings and dictionaries uninstalled and lost ;(

skip mode

When skip mode is on, the video speeds up to the next subtitle but then it also goes back for a fraction of a second before playing the next line, therfore making this feature unusable

google images very small low res

I remember this being reported before, but I can’t find it or the solution. The past week my Legacy Google images results when creating cards from video are super small, tiny resolution for the first 3, but additional loaded ones are normal size. Seems to be related to using ExpressVPN, even when logged into my Google account.

After addon update, my css style of card crashed, changes in css seems not helping

On the first screenshot is current styling, however i want to get back to my original one, which i took from livakivi's deck. I also tried to download his deck again, however his style is now also seemed to be violated by smth from addon's side.

Kanji god not creating new kanji automatically

I used to use kanji god, but I had to reinstall anki and now it doesn't create new recognition and production cards. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks in advance!...

Aw, Snap! Error code: 5

When I try to play any Netflix video with the legacy extension turned on, both the webpage and the extension either immediately crash, or the video starts and plays for just a moment and then both the page and extension crash (the former with an "Aw, Snap!" error ["Error code: 5"], the latter with a toast: "Mikaku - Legacy has crashed" message). I have tried, one by one, all of the troubleshooting steps given via the "Learn more" link; none has worked. When I try to access the legacy extension settings by clicking on the settings wheel icon, I get similar behaviour (the settings page opens and either immediately crashes or opens, loads for a brief moment, and then crashes; in both cases, the extension crashes along with the page crash) with the same error (code 5 again). Recording automatically goes back 2 slides

Hello, I am trying to use Migaku on Netflix. When I want to mine a sentence, it goes back by one or two sentences and ends up clipping the recording before it even records the wanted sentence. Is there a way to fix this or a way to manually start/stop a recording?

Disappearing Ruby

Every other time I start my browser the ruby fails to appear. I have to disable and enable the plug-in and close and open the browser several times before it finally appears. This is costing me a lot of time.
