Record function

In the near future, will Magaku be making a record function so I can record anime audio and just take a screenshot to make a card?

Monolingual Korean from Day 1

I couldn't decide if this should go in the Migaku or the Anki section I want to immerse in Korean from day 1 as much as possible. My current strategy is to learn individual words through images. I asked AI to give me the 100 most common Korean nouns exclusively in Hangeul. I then search images and see if I feel confident that I recognize the meaning. If I do, I have been manually creating Anki cards which takes a lot of time. I realized I probably can save time with Migaku, but I am having a little bit of trouble. First, my understanding was the image generates from Google Images, right? I was creating a card for 고기 which I had already searched for in both Naver and Google and felt confident I understood the meaning (it pulled back images of meat). I then started creating the Migaku word card, but an image I didn't expect kept coming up (a live chicken). I wondered if the meaning was more broad than I thought, so I broke my monolingual rule and used Google Translate. The only definition that came back was "meat", no "chicken". I don't get any images of chickens when I search the word in Google Images nor Naver, so why would that image pull up in Migaku? It makes me worried about creating these types of cards with Migaku. Also is there a way to make the target word the front of the card? I thought I had changed the card type to something like a "individual word card" in Migaku, but now I am not finding that as an option so maybe I just imagined that 😂 It is fine if I simply have to add the word to the sentence field and target word field to get it to work. It simply makes the card a little busier than I would like it but not a huge deal....

Importing anki learning status

Hi, I'm currently trying Migaku(monthly fee) for now, I'm really enjoying the tool but there is one thing I can't resolve, I have an big anki deck and I want when using Migaku, to import my anki progress for words I already know. The learning status seems neat and I don't if there is any solution .. it seems that there is an "import" vocabulary in option but it's a text input, it's not connected to Anki Thank you for your help 🙂...

Creating batch cards off a lyric website?

Lets say I'm on a lyric website. I see that Migaku has highlighted a bunch of words for me and recognizes that none of them are learned yet. Is there a way for me to batch generate cards from all of those without manually clicking each one?

Every video I try to play has no subtitle support?

Hey everyone. I know the primary focus of this app is Japanese but how supported are the other languages? I installed the app for French but every video I've tried so far has so subtitle support for French. Am I doing something wrong?

Bulk Add Terms?

If I have a list of words, can I bulk add the cards to a deck and then review them to edit as needed one by one? I have a set of flashcards I'd like to move to the application, but they aren't Anki cards so I can't just import the set. Because of the way the webpage is set up, I can't copy all of the words at once either...

Review card limit?

I’m a bit confused by this message. It says there are 52 reviews but I can’t review them. Does it mean I already reviewed 52 cards today maybe? It lets me increase the new card review limit and continue the course.

learning kanji

Hi, I started learning Japanese a few days ago and I know hiragana and katakana. But I have a problem with kanji. I don't understand why I have to learn it, I don't understand how I learn it and I don't know where I can learn it because I understood that there are about 2000 letters. Switching from Yearly to Lifetime

Just curious, I am currently paying about 48 a year for Migaku; if I wanted to change to a lifetime subscription I’m curious if the price would be different. I think my yearly price is cheaper because maybe it was an older price that I am still allowed to keep since I’ve been a subscriber for a long time. I really love the product and genuinely see myself using it for my whole life, especially with the changes and path course over the last few years. So, yeah would I just pay the current discounter price of 200 or would I get a cheaper price?...

Export subtitles to .srt

Good day everyone! I am writing to say mostly that I really love the updated version of Migaku for video playing. A lot of some of the older quirks have been smoothed over and it's a much more effective platform overall. I am really enjoying using it. One question. Does the new version retain a feature to export all video subtitles to a .srt file? (Or any sort of text file?) That was one feature I found very useful. My normal procedure was traditionally to paste in a section, review it carefull...

I want to buy lifetime migaku, but I don't have a bank account. The only payment method I can use is google play account funds and mypaysafecard/Skrill. Is there a way to pay using any of those methods?

Anki Card Limit

I upgraded from the free version of Migaku to the Standard paid version, but it still says I can't add anymore than 100 cards from Anki to Migaku known words. What can I do to add more cards to Migaku memory?

Why do dictionaries sometimes prioritize unrelated words?

In this context, "なん" is written in hiragana and is part of a very common phrase ("なんだろう"), yet the dictionary defaults to showing me a completely different word as the first definition written in katakana ("ナン"). I get that it's not always easy to determine the right word in every context, but why does it prioritize a completely different word form and meaning in this case? Is it some settings?

How do I select female AI generated voice for sentences as default?

Hey there! Due to having a higher-pitched voice, it is easier for me to listen to the female ai voice and imitate it rather than the male AI voices. However, on sentence card generations, when I hit "Create 🪄✨" for the AI-voiced sentence, it always defaults to a male voice, and I have to end up hitting create and waiting for it to generate multiple times over (usually 3 times for "Mayu" the female voice I find easiest to mimic) just to get the AI voice I would like to use. I feel like this is redundant and that there's probably a way to adjust my default preferred AI voice but after searching a lot on all the Migaku settings I could find on my own I'm unable to find the option to set a preferred AI voice. Is there a way to set a default preferred voice, or is this feature nonexistent? Any help would be greatly appreciated! 💜...

Customizing ‘Review Cards’ for studying?

I finished studying all of the new cards within a deck— because of this, Migaku now registers these cards as ‘review cards’. I know that in the settings area I can customize how to study ‘new’ cards in batches. But I can’t do this for ‘review’ cards, correct? Is this something that will be implemented down the line? It would be nice to have more control on how to study a deck that has over 100 review cards in it.🥹❤️

I want to change my email address on my Migaku account.

I want to change my email address on my migaku account. However, I'm a little worried if something happens to my account and support asks for the original email I used to create it. My question is: can I change the email address for my account to another one? Or will this cause me problems in the future? ps: I'm going to delete my current email because of the spam I'm receiving....
