Because, since

The particle から can be used to express the reason or cause of something. When used in this manner, it can be translated as because, since, or so.

The typical structure is AからB, with A representing the reason and B, the result.

When used with verbs or い-adjectives in any tense, you can simply attach から directly.

(あめ)()っているから(かさ)()って()った(ほう)いい

Since it’s raining, you’d better take an umbrella.

(やす)からこのシャツ二枚(にまい)()った

Because it was cheap, I bought two of these T-shirts.

In the case of nouns or な-adjectives, either or だった must be inserted before から.
