Playback settings

Is there no playback settings to adjust the start time and end time padding in the new extension? While 90% of the videos I watch, I keep at the default 300ms, there is some where I need to adjust the padding to get the full audio. How is this handled in the new extension? There is no way to control it now? In legacy, there are settings for this.

Monolingual dictionary for Spanish?

I recently changed the ChatGPT explanations for my cards to be in my target language (Spanish), and now I'd like to take it a step further by changing to a monolingual Spanish dictionary, e.g. maybe the one from RAE if it's available in a compatible format. How can I go about getting a monolingual Spanish dictionary and installing it in the new version of Migaku? Thanks!

How to get the new browser extension when I'm currently using the Beta version?

I've been a $5/mo Patreon supporter Since 2021 (picrel) and I'm just now getting back into an immersion/mining routine. I've been using the Migaku Brower Extension beta version (v0.6.1) compatible with Anki (2.1.35) that still works but has recently been giving me some problems on Netflix. I would like to try out the new browser extension, but I want to keep my support to the Patreon platform. How would I be able to access the new extension, and would it still be compatible with the version of Anki I'm currently running? Please advise, thank you!...

Learning shortcut?

So i finally made the switch to the new version of anki, and i'm enjoying it a lot. I have 2 problems that i can't seem to solve. 1: what is the shortcut for "learning" status? I use it often, and it seems to not exist. Tracking ain't the same 2: Can i move the subtitles down a bit? I Only use the japanese subtitles and no secondary, so they're just.. in the middle of the screen....

help with editing anki card layouts created in migaku

Ive been using Migaku Legacy for almost 2 years and just switched today but the cards i sentence mine for anki are formatted weirdly and idk why that is. 1st image is what my cards looked like when i made them using legacy migaku The new migaku changed the way the cards look and they look so much nicer and informative with the AI context notes and the furigana (which my anki cards didnt have) and they look great in migaku memory but for some reason they dont work when i make them for my anki deck The 2nd is what they look like now and i have no clue why but the image is displayed at the top even tho everywhere i check it isnt meant to do that, the color and pitch accent stuff isnt working on the front of the card but it is on the back. and the AI context generated by migaku isnt even on the card This could completely be because of my anki's note type but im not sure why its breaking so much in the newer version of migaku...

Change Note Type

Hello, I am trying to change the note type of new words added from Migaku to Anki. When I choose multiple lines on the Anki browser it catches also old words and I get a message "Please select notes from only one notetype". How do I overcome this?...

Different reading

Migaku recognises 問 as どい while audio says もん. How can I fix this so that the card reading aligns with audio example?

Is it possible to automatically resume after you drag the cursor out of the video area?

If I understand this correctly, the player auto pauses if the cursor gets into the video area, but then I need to manually hit play again

Counting Known Words Twice Kana + Kanji

Hello! New Migaku user here. I am importing my known words into the known words section, and are noticing that Kana only words ex (一人で) and that same word written with kana only (ひとりで) Are counting as two known words. Or if we go with a much more uncommon word in kanji ex. (有難う) vs (ありがとう). Should I be only inputting one of the two as known? Or does this “technically” count as 2 words being known. I just want to be sure I am being honest with my known word count as I am moving through my immersion and measuring my progress. Thanks...

Is my only option switching to anki ? Mark Migaku course words as known?

Is there a way to go through the list of words in the Japanese Academy course and mark which words I know? I have been studying with a variety of services/methods in the past so there are quite a lot of words that I already know really well. I'm sure there are a lot of words in the course I don't know so I want to do the course, but I want to spend time on learning new words rather than reviewing ones I am already very comfortable with

Importing words from anki

Hi, I've been using Anki as my SRS and i want to import the known words to migaku. Previously i have been able to do this by using the legacy extension feature to import from anki and then disabling the extension and re-enabling the regular migaku one and the words would be loaded. My current issue is that i dont seem to be able to do this anymore. ive tried a bunch of combinations such as disabling both extensions and closing and reopening the browser, enabling legacy, importing, disabling it once again, closing and opening the browser and then re-enabling regular migaku, and closing and reopening the browser once again. No combination seems to work anymore. I was under the impression that both extensions shared a database/files and such the reason they could not be both enabled at once, but it seems that if the db were the same the words would sync. Or maybe the way its stored changed recently, im not sure. ...

How to generate cards with no target word

When generating audio sentence cards directly from Netflix, how do I prevent the Card Creator from automatically adding target words? And if that's not possible, how do I hide target words when studying the Memory flashcards? I only care about the entire sentence and not individual words, so this field just takes up space.
