Word list shows up empty and doesn't get updated with word set to known/ignored

Hello, I use two chrome profile, one day-to-day usage and the other is Japanese oriented, I've been having this issue where known words don't register and my word list appears empty, I have the Migaku App on both profiles and although they're on the same Migaku version the word list appears properly on my non-Japanese learning chrome profile which might indicate an issue on my end...

cards created in New Migagku don’t register in Legacy

Cards created in new Migagku and being studied in new Migagku Memory don’t show up as “learning” in Legacy in subtitles. Still showing up as unknown even after doing some study reps. Guessing this a low or no fix since legacy is being phased out. In the meantime, recommend people manually mark as learning to avoid creating duplicates when making cards in Legacy.

Google images not working

I've tried opening google.jp and accepting cookies and everything, but it doesn't work. Also, the "neural" or whatever that audio thing is called has lowered its audio quality. I don't know if that has something to do or if there is anything I can do to improve its quality....

thick sub border breaks migagku

Setting the subtitle border too thick (somewhere greater than 12ish?) breaks Migaku setting page and ability to do any subtitles (webpage text parsing still works after reload). There is no way to load the settings page long enough to reset the border. Settings page will load as long as the area where you adjust subtitle size is not on the screen. Changing to another language does not help. I replicated the error on a separate computer. Font size was 60 for one and 75 for another. Chinese. One W...

popup/Q/card making button stops working

After some variable amount of time, pressing shift for the pop up dictionary stops working, and at the same time card-making stops working as well (either via Q or selecting the subtitle and clicking make card). This is happening increasingly frequently. I can briefly fix it when I refresh the page but it breaks very soon afterward, within minutes. Anyone with a fix?

migagku study words not marked as “Learning”

Words that I am learning using Migaku Study are not showing up as learning in Legacy. They still say Unknown. If I mark them as learning in legacy, does that mess them up in the new extension?

Migaku Player not working

The Migaku video player is not working for some videos including videos I have previously watched using the player. I am using video files I have already converted using the converter tool so the files are "migaku player ready". Only the audio of the files will play with the image completly missing. It seems like the player has recognised it as in audio only file as an audio player bar appears at the bottom (screenshot). I also tried the the original version of the file (ie the one that is not "migaku player ready") and it's the same problem. Other files I've tried will play as normal. But I think it's like a certain type of file because if one file from a season of a show I have on PC won't play correctly then none of them will play....

Anki crashes, if i press CAPS LOCK while being in Anki's search bar

Before using migaku, i used anki 2.1.23. I updated to 2.1.54 and delete some excessive addons. This type of crash happened for the first time....

Cannot select target language in Migaku Toolbar on YouTube

Starting a couple of days ago I've been unable to select a target language in the Migaku Toolbar on YouTube -- I can't seem to change the target from "Disabled", even though I know the video has accompanying subtitles. On the other hand I'm able to select a target language on Netflix, or on Youtube pages that aren't videos (e.g. search results), and seemingly most other websites. Would appreciate any help with this!

Recording a sentence lags for a moment

Sometimes when recording, it will lag for a moment, and thus cause the audio recording to cut off too early, before the speaker is done finishing the sentence. I just have to keep re-recording until it doens't lag and gets it right

"Record" doesn't always capture every target word

Even after getting the prompt for setting target words and having multiple, it doesn't always transfer all of the target words to the anki card. Sometimes I have to just clear the fields and re-run the record over and over until it gets all of them

Netflix/Out of Sync

Legacy browser -- 0.9.35.2. Mac. For Netflix (but okay on Youtube), it doesn't build cards correctly -- the audio for Sentence Cards is almost always not recording in sync with the chosen screen or block (in the browser). Anyone else had heard of this issue? I haven't been on this forum for awhile, so wasn't sure

Loading subtitles crashes Migaku Legacy Browser Extension

Whenever I start playing a video in the Migaku Legacy Browser's Migaku Player, the video plays fine, but if I load a .srt subtitle file, the extension crashes when the video gets to an actual subtitle line. Happens every time and I have to go into the extension manager and reload the extension. Chrome Version 118.0.5993.70 (Official Build) (x86_64) macOS Sonoma 14.0 (iMac 27 inch 2020)...
