downloading ffprobe/ffmpeg failed (OSX)

there have been a few previous posts about this but no clear solution. i have a m1 mac. tried uninstall and reinstalling anki. i also tried the thing with brew, but idk if ive done it right tbh. i also tried turning of firewall and i dont have a vpn. so whats the solution? would be much appreciated

wrong parsing

for example「これ」is parsed as atamadaka when it is actually heiban. Is there a way I can change the parsing to fix this? Is this also fixed in the new exentsion?

Migaku Toolbar not working on YT Videos

It works everywhere else but not on YouTube video pages. Works on the YT homepage too. Got a report that it was working fine till yesterday....

Migaku Tone Trainer Placement Test for Mandarin repeating the same words.

I've restarted it a few times and it keeps randomly getting stuck on a single word during the test and doesn't change the tones or anything, I don't know what else to say.

Migaku Player cannot play converted file

Hello. A few months ago, the player stopped being able to play most video files. Ever since then, I have been using the official converter, but when I did so today, the new files couldn't be played correctly (no picture only sound). The files themselves are in the mp4 format and play perfectly fine in the native player. I subscribed to migaku chiefly to learn through my own video files through the player, and I feel the player has only become less convenient to use recently. Can we expect any updates or improvements to it soon?...

Katakana In Weird Font

This randomly started happening today with only Katakana. You can see the katakana at the start and in the middle of the sentence is in some compact/squished font. It happened for every card created that had katakana in it.

condensed audio not working

When I tried to download a condensed audio from a show, the whole process initially looked fine and the percentage window was displayed as well. Migaku Legacy stopped working for me

hey just looking to see if anyone one is currently going through this or can help. Maybe a week or so ago, migaku browser extension suddenly stopped working for me. I assumed it was an update with something or a compatibility issue and gave it time to roll over. It never did... I am currently logged in to the extension but it will not parse or do any advanced features. All it does is repost the subtitles on the bottom of the screen in a different font. On the settings page its as if I never had an account. No memory. 1800 known words gone. I switched from Brave to Google Chrome to see if it was a browser issue but there was no carryover. ...

Dictionary Outputting all Definitions to a card

Hi! I have this problem when I export to the dictionary from a definition it will export all the definitions from a specified dictionary even if I only check one definition I want specified. I can send screen shots if needed....

Legacy ext jumps back 2 subtitles everytime I try to make a card

This only happens on Netflix, YouTube is fine but everytime I try make a card, the sentence audio will jump back like 2 subtitles and stop recording before even getting to the target word. Plus I can't seem to jump forward in subtitles, it just repeats the one I'm on (like the S key function)

Can't send anything to card creator

Have tried reinstalling and restarting my computer. But whenever I click on a word in the migaku dictonary to send to the card creator nothing happens. Also if I mine cards from netflix and try to send sentences from there into the card creator, it records the video/audio but none of the definition/sentence/audio clip etc get filled out.

Audios missing in the tone trainer

A few audios are missing in the tone trainer, for example "na li" in the lesson "Tone Pairs - Second Tone"
