Audio on mac not playing

Does Migaku support English > Chinese as well as Chinese > English cards?

I think English > Chinese will help with writing and speaking. Is that possible with Migaku? Not only for my personal cards, but also the Mandarin Course would be useful

Exporting Cards

I'm confused about how to do this. Yesterday someone told me I can't do this, but when I was looking at the feedback threads I saw someone say we could already export cards to Anki I want to share the deck I made in Migaku with my partner so he doesn't have to remake cards. We're following the same curriculum and the cards cover the content only, so I wanted to save him time and export them If it goes to Anki that's okay as he has that app too...

Ways to pay subscription

Hi, right now I'm located in China and my only way to pay for subscription is alipay, but when I try to get usual sub alipay is not available, only on lifetime sub I can use alipay, so is there any way I could possibly get it using alipay?

Issue with Migaku Mobile YouTube

I was watching a video on the Migaku app and it worked perfectly, but when I logged into my YouTube account I started getting the error that my settings have hidden subtitles. Not sure if this is just me being dumb, but I went and tried changing this around and turning on the subtitles in YouTube but maybe I missed a step. It’s just weird that this is popping up only after logging in?...

Change or disable hotkey

I'd like to disable the hotkey for "K" marking words as known. That's the same as YouTube's hotkey for K starting/stopping a video, so I often accidentally mark words as known -- super annoying. chrome://extensions/shortcuts doesn't allow me to change the K hotkey. How can I do so?

When to mark word as Known

Are there any best practices for when to mark a word as "Known"? I am currently studying Mandarin Chinese by reading and listening/watching content. Sometimes, I may be reading text with no audio. Other times, I may be watching or listening to media with transcript or subtitles. If I am reading a text with no audio and I can visually recognize a word and its meaning, it doesn't necessarily mean I can hear and understand the same word spoken in native level contexts. On the other hand, if I am watching/listening to media and can hear and understand the spoken words, it doesn't necessarily mean I can visually recognize those same words when reading a text....

Connecting to Anki

I'm trying out Migaku and trying to get it working before the sale ends so I can decide whether or not to purchase, but I'm having trouble connecting to Anki. Migaku incorrectly identifies words in context

What is the best way to handle when Migaku incorrectly identifies words in context? For example, in this sentence Migaku identified the word "要说“ to mean "as for" or "when it comes to". This makes absolutely no sense in context. The phrase "我要说说" simply means "I'm going to talk about" or "I want to talk about". When this happens, is it best to set the word as "Unknown", "Ignore", or "Known"? This happens often enough that I would like to hear others' perspectives on how to handle it so it doesn't slow down my learning. Is there anything that the Migaku developers can do to improve this if I flag these instances or does it just depend on how well the AI model can parse the text?...

How not to show the english subs at the bottom of the video ?

Hello, I'm new to Migaku and I'm using the legacy version of Migaku Media Player. I'm using 2 subtitle tracks, one in japanese and one in english so I can have the translation on my Anki cards. When will legacy parity actually be finished?

It is taking years to reach legacy parity. New features constantly keep being prioritized over legacy parity. It seems every response from the team about this is very vague which does not seem promising. Some of these missing features in the new extension are very easy to implement such as Anki word syncing.
